Delete your account
How to delete your Ozbon account, what is removed, and what is kept.
How to delete your account
In the Ozbon app, go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete my account permanently.
What gets deleted
Your login credentials, so you can no longer sign in.
Your name, email, phone number and profile photo.
Your listings are removed from the marketplace.
What is kept, and why
Messages you sent stay visible to the people you were talking to, shown as from a deleted user.
Transaction and order records are kept for six years, for dispute resolution and tax purposes.
Where an account was reported, moderation records are kept for six years.
If you can't access the app
Email support@ozbon.ng from the email address on the account, and we'll process the deletion manually.
Deletion is permanent
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no recovery.
